I really like this photo because of it's abstract nature. You have the dummies in the window, who are faceless. The people are equally faceless. It's as if you can wonder who is looking at who (because neither group has identity). :)
Appreciate the comment. Hope you didn't get sucked in to deep! I really like this shot. The sense of movement is conveyed well and the B&W works perfectly. Very nice.
I really enjoy your work. You have a very open mind, a terrific eye, humour and interesting compositional skills ! I have see some similarites to some of my photos but yours are much less constricted. I love them -- Bob
I like the mystery evoked here by the mannequins - they look as though they're ready to step through the window right onto the sidewalk. I also like the feeling of swift movement of the walkers, and the transparency and layers throughout this shot. Truly awesome!
I agree with the other comments about the mystery and eeriness of this very normal prosaic space haunted by such shadowy figures. It's a multilayered world, and you've captured that feeling perfectly. thanks!
But it is obvious! These are the shadows of the mannequins that have decided to break free and go for a walk. Pity they don't know about their fate, once they will be outside the cone of light that created them in the first place. But maybe they have some secret that we don't know yet, as they seem so determined!
I've been looking at this photo for several minutes now. I really love the perspective, and I can't quite figure out how you've positioned yourself. There is lots to look at, and many interesting layers. I love it.
