I sat around for several minutes and tried to figure out what was going on here. Mirror, escalator? Then I flipped the laptop upside down and found the key. :-)
Brilliant! I really like this shot! Like people caught in some lost geometric domain (i.e. Beverly Hills?). I like the fact that the people are all clustered in the center, with all the white airiness and lines around them.
This is great...it's what it actually feels like to be on an escalator, especially when you stare at the one going the oposite direction. It's also, for me, some sort of documentation of the comings and goings of commerce. Cool.

The world is in balance, like a gigantic Ying & Yang wheel, in which we are darkness and light complementing any of our action with its own opposite.
