Here’s a picture I took in the “old days”; when I picked up a camera and began my quest in street [non] photography; in the year 2000. I used one of these point and shoot cameras to take this picture
I like how the two bearded men act as bookends in this composition. The flash and jiggle is effective here in telling the story of movement and how light is not static, but rather a constant statement in motion. It's a carnival of light and motion!
You told "you just need a camera that works...". While I think that your last shots are better, I like this shot.

This shot manages to encapsulate everything that is Santa Monica pier. It's almost like I'm there again...
Further considering, this shot looks like if I were able to remember every memory of the pier at once. I dig it.

I looks like an old picture. It almost looks likes scratches or spider webs on the photo...especially on the right portion.
I like it!!!

Great photograph! Strange but I've been going through my old photographs today, too :) Have a nice Sunday.

Aim and shoot is a good thing. No pretentions. No expectations. Decisive moment for sure.
