Great composition with this woman on the left side. The subject of the poster on the wall give dynamic to this shot. I like the tones too... but all your shot have great tones.

S.

Very vibrant and alive, lots of action. The eye keeps moving all over the place, like a tennis match. The white sky near the black wall is a nice effect. I like all the coolness icons (iPod, Stoli, Coors, NYC in general) in contrast to the kind of uncool looking pedestrian. :-) And one other thing.... isn't she jaywalking???

I like the contrast that has the Black and White and the urban flavor of your photographies. The histories that they contain are very well resolved. Congratulations

I like the girl on the left ... the bent knee is nice touch ... great background

Hello, I really enjoyed the moods that your photographs created.

I have a question...Taking photos of random people with or without their knowledge, do you need a photo release if you use them? I can't find anyone who knows the answer to this. I appreciate your help.

Why do I feel like I've seen this photo before? It looks eerily familiar, like it was a part of a dream I had or something.

Danielle, generally speaking if you use the images for publishing (web or books) you DON’T need a release form. If you use the photos for stock photography or commercial advertising then you need to get your subjects to sign a release form.

The picture is great! Question are you switching to duotone prints? I like the effect it has on certain images.

Oh, I like the superposition between her and the posters. She looks quite determined and that gives her some coolness factor too. If she were only wearing black and listening to an iPod... ;-)

this is intensely cool.

my god this is awesome.

Very cool shot, like it a lot... The different ipod ads and the girl walking by - just a perfect combination. The b&w adds to the feeling...

Is that sepia? I'm wondering how you got that high contrasted, dark brown-ish color in your picture. I love it!!!!

Your pictures RAWK!

Oh well... I guess it's your secret recipe.

Bonjour,
je suis française et nulle en Anglais ...
J'aime beaucoup ton travail. La photo ci-dessus est superbe.
L'ambiance, les tons : il y a vraiment qque chose qui passe au travers de celle-ci.
Bravo et bonne chance pour la suite ...
