man_made
There’s something about the relationship between humans and their artificially natural environment that keeps me fascinated.
On the surface it is quite simple; people create their environment corresponding to their native culture and at the same time the culture is dynamically influenced by its man-made surroundings.

Wowza...that's a crazy shot. There's a lot of dead space right in the middle...talk about breaking the rules!
As always, I still dig it...it's funky, but I dig it.

Nitsa, this would make a great cover for another book. Fantastic.

Whoa...what a great shot. I really like the colors and suturations in this pic. Nice thought provoking post as well :-)

Interesting effect. When I open the page, I only see the top half of the picture. I scrolled down slowly looking at the details, and I thought, this is different, Nitsa is going off on some new graphic tangent, maybe it's a collage. Only when I got to the bottom did I see the little figure and realize, yes, a street photo. I should have known better. :-) I like it!

Once again I stunned...

Is there really anything artificial in the world? I mean, really...everything we make, eat, breathe, drink has always been here and always will be here, in some form or another. The woman in your photo, dwarfed by her own culture and surroundings, is exactly where she should be at this moment, and you have captured that moment with thoughtful and poetic acuracy. It's all good, it's all natural.

Strong graphical shot - great composition - with the different elements playing off against each other. Like the way the figure appears almost inconsequential...
