I also liked that tilt. Somehow it seems to make a pretty depressing scene look almost lighthearted. I like the color of the sepia tint, and also the way the guy is tucked into the extreme corner. If it wasn't for the graffiti, I might think this one is a pretty old picture!
I find this photo wonderful and not depressing at all. He is philosopher from ancient Greece, living in a world made at his own measure. When was the last time I sat in the sun reading a newspaper, oblivious of the distraction around, sitting leg crossed whenever I please? And these Chaplinesque shoes???
Aw yes, no cares no worries... I think this fellow figured it all out a long time ago. I have a little spot picked out for myself in a quiter part of town down by the water front. A real king of the road.
Warm regards,
John
Like so many of your shots, this is beautifully composed with the subject, crooked angle, the high contrast, the sepia tones, the grain... Great catch!
Fantastic, like Massimo said, seems to be some kind of philosofer... or may be some kind of teacher waiting his pupils in some public school (by the graffitis and that kind of blackboard).
I like how the frame is tilted to reflect your subject's recline. I wonder what he's reading?

Great contrast, colour, and objects position.
