Early days
Finally I decided to get the nonPhotography.com URL address.
I have no idea why I didn’t get it before. Strange!
Going down Memory lane: I created the non-photography website in March 2001 after looking into photography as it was presented through its different forms and realizing it just didn’t fit with the natural [rule-free] inner drive I had.
Obviously I was neither a photographer nor striving to become one.
. . . . . . . . .
This is one of the very earliest pictures I’ve made. It was taken in Harlem, New York in 2000.

sure does look like another old photo alright ;) Nice. I like how you captured the man in the white coat...his stride - kinda looks ghostly.

I love the old look to this one, did you photoshop it? Great movement on the guy on the corner - excellent work.

I like this shot because it tells a story. The man that seems to come out of the building, the other one that's so small, the street signs, the bin, all these lines... Well done!

these are really great. I have bookmarked this site, for sure.

Kind of symbolic for rule-free photography: people walking into a street with a big DO-NOT-ENTER sign :)

wonderful as usuall, it looks like a city in war. althought pepole are there but, it looks like a lifeless and scarey space

The "do not enter" sign is so foreboding, it defines those who dare to ignore its warning. The grain and soft focus truly add to the tension of this photo. I think it is also symbolic of your roots in photography, and your choice to enter the realm of no rules, where many in the know warn you not to go. A beautiful slice of your photographic history.

That dude in front looks like a ghost indeed, fading back into the brick wall ...

Your style hasn't changed, in 4 years time, which goes to show that whatever you're doing it's right for you. Keep up the great work.

Nitsa, you are such a liar...
You may not have been striving to become a photographer, but photography was obviously striving to become you.

The person just rounding the corner has 'motion'...make's it look as if this person is in a hurry...and nothing else matters for that's their main objective.

Everything old is new again :)
