unexpected

Sometimes I stumble upon an image in the least expected places.

Metropolitan
The Metropolitan Museum

Interesting how the persons in this hall looks like statues themselves.

where are you? in that photo?

The image looks amazing. And why would a picture of the Met be surprising?

My eyes keep going to the beautiful window in the background with the view of trees through it. This is another study shot, and I love these kind of images.

a museum is an unexpected place? that's like the first place i took my camera! but they sent me away :( great shot!

This is really a wonderful point of view... I agree that the window is great.. the perfect grid pattern really anchors the shot. :)

the perspective is stunning... you captured a great view!

The colors and contrast in this one make me think i'm flying through a dream....I'm not sure why, maybe the big open space and the people down below. very successful!

The tone and contrast makes that place "the place".
Cool !

wow .... how did you strip away the colors like that ? I like this one ...

Awesome shot! love the view out of the window, and the overall colour and effect :-)

This is cool, I like the proportions. This looks like it could be a regular sized room, taken from a standing position, filled with tiny people. The right hand doorway could be a fireplace.
